The Idea
The idea for Cyprus Surgeries came from our years of experience working within the NHS in the UK, where we witnessed first-hand the increasing pressures on patients waiting for surgery. At the same time, we saw a growing trend of British citizens travelling abroad to places like Turkey for procedures, often drawn by lower prices but sometimes left with concerns about quality, safety, and aftercare.
we recognised a gap in the market – the need for an alternative that combined the affordability of surgery abroad with the quality standards that UK patients expect. Cyprus, with its strong healthcare infrastructure, highly trained professionals, and close ties to Europe, was the natural choice.
